Hi, Cynthia!
-

Tell us about your family!
I am the first daughter of Frank and Carmen, and I have a younger brother.
I met my husband in high school, and we have now been married for 12 years. Together, we have three children: our son, Ivan, and our daughters, Andrea and Arianna. We also have a black Lab named Yondu, who is definitely part of the family!

What hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy cooking, baking, and finding new dishes to cook for my family. I also enjoy hosting gatherings, making charcuterie boards, making my own coffee drinks at home, and going to concerts. I most recently saw Zach Bryan in San Diego and the following weekend took my girls to see Megan Moroney at the Staples Center aka Crypto Arena.

What is something you’re proud of ?
I’m most proud of the life I’ve built with my family. Balancing motherhood, marriage, and a career can be very challenging, but it has helped me become more patient, resilient, and determined.
Professionally, I’m proud of how much I’ve grown in my role and my ability to support multiple projects.

What do you enjoy doing in your downtime?
Much of my free time is spent at the fields watching my son’s football and baseball games or cheering my daughters at their cheer competitions and STUNT tournaments.
When I have downtime, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and catching up on my favorite shows. Some of my all-time favorite shows are Dexter and Big Brother. I also LOVE football Sundays and cheering on the Eagles. GO BIRDS! 🦅

Are there any traditions you cherish?
Yes! One tradition I truly cherish is cooking Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and daughters. There is something so heartwarming about passing down family recipes and spending that time together in the kitchen.
My hope is that one day, my daughters will continue the tradition and pass those recipes down to their own children.

What's your go-to local spot?
One of my favorite local spots is West Coast Bagel in Chino. It’s a small mom-and-pop shop, and the owners are always so sweet and welcoming. Their bagels are delicious, which keeps me coming back!
Also, one of my favorite restaurants is Citrone in Redlands (not local to me), but I would make the drive anytime, especially for their Garlic and Parmigiano Crostini with whipped ricotta and honey. They are my absolute favorite!
-

What would the song be if your life had a theme song?
My theme song right now would be “Something Simple” by Ella Langley. Life is always busy, but at the end of the day, the simple things are what make me happiest. It reminds me to slow down and enjoy those little moments.
-

Tell us about one of your most memorable vacations.
My most memorable vacation was our family trip to Hawaii last year, where my husband and I renewed our wedding vows with our children by our side. It was incredibly special to celebrate our marriage in such a beautiful place and share that moment with our kids. I will always cherish that moment.
-

What advice would you give someone entering your field?
My advice would be to stay organized, be flexible, and never be afraid to ask questions. Things can change quickly, and no two projects are ever exactly the same. You won’t always have all the answers, but being willing to learn, communicate, and help wherever needed goes a long way.

What’s a fun or surprising fact about you?
A few people at AA may know this, but I feel most don't. Outside of work, no one calls me Cynthia, I'm better known as Cindy!
-

What’s a recent podcast you’d recommend?
I would recommend a podcast called "Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce." She’s funny, honest, and relatable, and I enjoy listening to her talk about motherhood, family, sports, and everyday life.

What’s a small thing that instantly makes your day?
My kids!
