Employee Handbook

We’re excited to share the updated Employee Handbook! Here are a few highlights of the changes made:

  • Floating Holidays: Floating holiday requests must include the personal, cultural, or religious event being observed in the request details.

    • In Rippling, you will be prompted to add the specific event you are observing when submitting a floating holiday request. (Examples: “In observance of my birthday” or “In observance of Memorial Day”)

  • Sick Time: Sick time may be used when you are unable to work due to your own illness, injury, or medical condition, including medical appointments. Earned sick leave may also be used to care for an ill or injured family member, as outlined in the policy.

All team members will need to review and acknowledge receipt through Rippling.

If you have any questions after reviewing, please reach out to Rhett.

Events Team Updates

As events ramp up, we kindly ask that you review the reminders below to help keep scheduling, communication, and staffing running smoothly with the Events Team. These reminders reflect feedback shared directly by the Events Team on areas where we can continue to improve.

Reminders:

  • Add & update all events in the Event Staff App

  • Confirm staff early and end scheduling once selected

  • Send calendar holds + event details to AA Calendar

  • Keep supply bins stocked & clarify photo submissions

Event Team capacity:

  • Part-time (max 19 hrs/week, no overtime or 2x)

  • Billable event-related work only

  • No longer responsible for equipment transport

Event Staff should only be utilized if absolutely necessary, and full-time team members should be prioritized for coverage.

Know someone interested in part-time event work? Please send resumes to Rhett.

We’ve welcomed new and recently onboarded staff who are fully trained and ready to support upcoming events. View availability in the  AA Events Team Matrix
